Landscape Value:

Can be used as a specimen plant.

Dirr says: "Used a great deal on fences, trellises, and also espaliered against walls. Lady Banks Rose is a common occurrence in southern gardens especially those with period (1850 to 1900) connotations. This 'Lutea' double-flowered form is also referred to as Lady Banks Rose as is the species. The plant requires no special insect and disease control measures and actually appears to thrive with neglect."
