Dirr says: "tree to 50 to 60' in height, averages 15 to 20' in spread, species rarely represented in this country. Tree or shrub, most typically an erect, narrow, conical tree; sometimes very slender, sometimes bushy; cultivars variable from ground covers to large, wide-spreading shrubs."
