  South Africa  

Sun/Water Requirements:

  Partial/Full sun.

Armitage says: "Provide full sun, plant early and remove when foliage becomes stretched and flowering declines."

Growth:

  Range: Grows from 6" to 9".

Flowers:

  Color(s): Blue, Purple, White, Yellow
Season(s): Spring

Armitage says: "The blue to violet flowers, held in lax spikes, usually have a white or yellow throat and the stamens are exserted (stick out)."  

Foliage:

  Armitage says: "The toothed lower leaves are ovate and attached by a short petiole while the stem leaves are linear and almost sessile."  

Landscape Value:

  Can be used as a container plant.
