  Western Himalaya  

Sun/Water Requirements:

  Partial sun.

Armitage says: "Place in partial shade and well-drained soils."

Growth:

  Range: Grows from 12" to 18".

Flowers:

  Color(s): Pink, White, Yellow
Season(s): Summer

Armitage says: "Plants are not excessively tall or short, they flower over a long period of time and they have been grown for many years.The hooded flowers are white, flushed with pink, with a pale yellow lower lobe and held in 3-9 flowered loose racemes.They begin to flower in late spring and continue throughout most of the season."  

Foliage:

  Armitage says: "The alternate leaves are ovate to elliptical and range from 1-5" long and about 2" wide."
