  Range: Grows from 30' to 50'.
Dirr says: "columnar-pyramidal form with a strong,l central leader and fine, profuse, upward arching branches. A tree may be 14' high and only 3 1/2' wide, 35' by 14' after 14 years."

Dirr says: "flowers about 5 days later than 'Bradford'."

  Deciduous
Color: Leaves are dark green in the summer and red and purple in the fall.
Dirr says: "colors earlier than other cultivars; leaf spot is terrible and disfigures leaves to the degree that trees are a liability."

Dirr says: "Considerable hype surrounded this tree and claims like "more urban tolerant and drought tolerance than 'Bradford'" have been made, unfortunately, this form is less than desirable and several southern nurserymen who started to grow the plant in the early 1980's have quit."
