Origin:

  South America

Sun/Water Requirements:

  Partial/Full sun.
Moderate to wet conditions.
Armitage says: "Full sun should be avoided, as the foliage will burn up around the margins. Some of the white foliage forms truly brighten up the shade, while the darker leaved forms can be spectacular. Beginning them indoors is rewarding, and once foliage starts to emerge, keep the plants moist but not wet, and maintain warm temperatures. Store the lifted tubers at 55-70F in slightly moist peatmoss or sphagnum."

Growth:

Range: Grows from 2' to 3'.

Foliage:

Armitage says: "Is a popular form with white leaves and green veins and margins."
