Armitage says: "Health of the plant and flowering persist longer in dry summers than wet ones."

Growth:

  Range: Grows from 2' to 3'.

  Color(s): Yellow

Armitage says: "Developed in the late 1990s, plants are about 3' tall and absolutely smothered in 6" wide single, clean yellow flowers."

  Armitage says: "Native throughout the plains states and east to the Carolinas, plants were as numerous as the buffalo and bison, and although the natural habitat for the plant has declined, the breeding and diversity of the species has increased."
